We have the H1N1 flu vaccine for children 2 years of age and older.
We have the regular seasonal flu shot for children 6 months to 3 year of age. |
Flu Vaccines
Flu season is approaching and we would like to protect your children from the flu again this year.
Flu Vaccines are recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for all children over 6 months of age.
For children under age 9: If this is the first year your child is receiving a flu vaccine, or if only one dose was received last year, they will need two doses given at least 4 weeks apart.
Flu mist is also available for patients 2 years of age and older.
H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine
We anticipate receiving the H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine in mid October and will be scheduling appointments at that time. The H1N1 flu vaccine is manufactured and given the same way as the regular, seasonal flu vaccine.
